I tried this for the first time last night. Really enjoyed the cocktail concoction the fine mixologists came up with at Mother’s happy hour. I partook in two beverages and went on my merry way to watch the Blazers defeat the Clippers. A few hours later the headache hit…HARD. I don’t know what exactly makes up the elderflower berry (see this link http://www.stgermain.fr/index2.php to learn about the interesting story behind how this liquer is made), but it leaves one hell of an impression.
If it’s anything like other ‘time heals all wounds’ incidents (child birth, running a marathon, break ups, etc.) I’m sure I’ll be back for more, but for now my head is flying the white flag of surrender.
